A non-exhaustive list of things that I would, at some point, like to have a conversation about. If you want to talk to me about these things send me an email,[1] and we’ll make a time and I’ll buy the first round of coffee or cheap beer, your choice.

Topics of conversation:[2]

  • What it means to be a good literary citizen.

  • Cycling, particularly randonneuring and/or the effect Saudi money may have on the World Tour.[3]

  • How the fuck to I publish this stupid novel I wrote, all advise (good and bad) welcome.

  • Various writing tools (pen, MS Word, Scrivener, plain text), the effect(s) they have on a writer’s practice (this is important) and output.

  • Post-postmodern hypertext fictions, do they have any legs to stand on, and why do the e-poets get to have all the fun.

  • The essays of Leonard Michaels, why are they so good.[4]

2. This was a really great book, and if anybody’s friends with Miranda Popkey, please introduce me to her. I think she’s in Boston, and I want to invite her to these writer meetups I’m trying to get going. If you, too, are in Boston and want to come to the writer meetup, email me as well.
3. Other non-writing topics generally welcome.
4. For example, "Literary Talk"; I can’t stop thinking about it.
